The 6th edition of the AMPSECA Conference, scheduled to take place between October 31 and November 1, 2024, marks a continuation of the highly successful international conferences on Advanced Materials for Photonics, Sensing, and Energy AppliCAtions (AMPSECA). Previous editions were held in El Jadida in 2012, Agadir in 2017, and Marrakech in 2019, 2021, and 2023, all in Morocco. The upcoming event will once again be hosted in Marrakech. This international conference serves as a converging platform for various disciplines, bringing together a diverse group of academic and industrial researchers. Participants will share detailed insights into materials and applications related to photonics, sensing,  energy and hydrogen technologies.New this year, the AMPSECA'2024 Congress will feature a special session dedicated to the Africa-China scientific relationship. This initiative aims to explore potential synergies and collaboration opportunities between the two continents in the field of advanced materials, further enhancing the international scope of the conference.With a specific focus on energy-related issues, the conference aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among leading scientists and program managers, providing a forum for discussions through speakers and roundtable sessions. The decision to organize this sixth conference is highly encouraged. AMPSECA'2024 presents a unique opportunity to explore recent and future developments in advanced materials for photographic detection, sensing, and energy applications, encompassing areas such as biophotonics. The event will feature the participation of prominent researchers from Morocco, Europe, and around the world.
